PetSafe Big Cat Flap Glass Installation Adaptor

The PetSafe Big Cat Flap Glass Installation Adaptor is an installation accessory designed specifically to enable the fitting of the new PetSafe Big Cat Flap into glass doors or glass window panels. It provides a secure mounting interface between the pet door unit and the glass surface, allowing the cat flap to be properly supported within a circular glass cutout. This adaptor is intended exclusively for use with the new version of the Big Cat Flap (PPA10-17882) and is not compatible with earlier models.

The PetSafe Big Cat Flap Glass Installation Adaptor is designed to be installed into a professionally cut circular opening in glass, and includes a template and hardware to assist with correct sizing and placement. It must be noted that the glass cutout must be completed by a qualified professional glazier. For multi-pane or tempered glass installations, the cutout must be performed at the time of door or glass manufacture to ensure safety and structural integrity.

A rear gasket is included to help form a weather-resistant seal between the glass and the adaptor, assisting in reducing drafts and improving installation stability. The adaptor ensures the cat flap is properly supported and aligned within the glass aperture once installed.

The PetSafe Big Cat Flap Glass Installation Adaptor is intended as a fitting solution for glass-based installations where standard door mounting is not possible, ensuring the Big Cat Flap can be used in a wider range of home configurations.
